King Back In Victory Lane at the Southeast Super Truck Tour Season Opener
Friday, May 10th, 2019
Race season for the Southeast Super Truck Series and Clint King Motorsports is back in full swing as they made their first stop in Hudson, NC at the 4/10th mile oval, Tri County Motor Speedway, on Saturday March 30th. After finding a good balance through the various practice sessions throughout the weekend, the #07 team would qualify 4th and would start the race on the outside pole after the redraw. After pulling away from the leader from the initial start, King would go on to lead the entire 75 lap feature with the help of the precise feedback from his spotter and crew chief, Jeffrey Russell. This was King’s first win in the Southeast Super Truck series and a phenomenal start to the season. CKM looks ride this wave of momentum into the next event on May 18th at Anderson Motor Speedway in Williamston, SC and continue the success throughout the 2019 season as they run for the Southeast Super Truck championship.
